‘Patients Like Me’/ ‘Me Too TB Survivor’
The patient group aims to take the message of ‘Fight Against TB’ to the last mile of the country and to bring together TB survivors, who would be the most pertinent ‘Guides’ as to how to fight and defeat TB by sharing the stories of their recovery from TB. For this to accomplish, we may adopt TB treatment centres and make survivors – ‘Guides’ to help others fighting TB.
Considering the diverse construct of India, region-specific groups will help us set the foot in our target geographies – Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Rajasthan. Knowingly, these states contribute to over 50% of total TB patients in the country.
