‘India Fights TB’ aims to start an encompassing movement to make people aware of TB. Thousands of unidentified TB patients cope with TB symptoms in India having been unaware of what disease they are suffering from. Stories of such patients inspire us to go all out and fight TB in India, hence the name – ‘India Fights TB’. We aim to support the initiatives superheaded by Govt. of India through our ‘Movement’ – ‘India Fights TB’- www.indiafightstb.com.

We aim to provide accurate information to patients, caregivers, and the community at large in every nook and corner of the country regarding TB diagnosis and treatment through an effective communication strategy to derive health-seeking behaviour.

Needless to say, most of the population in the country is now digitally active and we aim to reach them digitally – through our website – with an array of information on TB. We would also embrace the power of social media and other mediums like TV to reach out to a larger number of people. This is not only a digital movement but also, we have planned on-ground activities and campaigns for those who don’t have access to the internet.

We aim to encourage those who have suffered from TB and recovered (TB Survivors) to tell their stories through our platform. This will encourage ailing TB patients to fight back and come out with flying colours.
